Girdwood 2020 celebrated its 13th Annual Meeting & Fundraiser on March 23rd, 2013 at Alyeska Resort. Among other subjects Sen. Murkowski gave the group insights into how things work in Washing D.C.
Co-Chair Diana Livingston reported to banquet attendees the status of Girdwood’s CIP list, projects accomplished and projects scheduled to finish and being the summer of 2013.
Girdwood 2020 was established in the year 2000
and set forth this Mission Statement:
Girdwood 2020 comprises a group of citizens who want Girdwood to grow and prosper as a unique and internationally recognized mountain resort community through environmentally responsible economic development. The overriding vision is to develop and sustain a world-class, four-season destination that protects and markets our most valuable asset – our valley’s unique setting.
